Crystal Candy Silicone lace moulds are made from the highest quality 100% food grade silicone, used for creating your own superior cake decor and other decorating finishes.
Tip for making the lace:
- place 2-3 heaped teaspoons of Lace mixture onto the mat, and spread into the design using a paint scraper or spatula.
- work the mixture into the artwork in all directions to ensure an even coverage and that all crevices are filled.
- leave to dry in a warm place (heat lamp, food dehydrator, warm fan, heater, sunlight, oven also works).
- drying time is dependent on humidity and temperature. In oven set at 70 degrees centigrade for 10 minutes, then leave it in the switched off oven for 10 more minutes.
We recommend to use our Lumea Cake Lace powder and Lumea gel and powder food colourants for the lace mixture.
